Mentor. Teacher.  Coach

At an early age, I discovered my gift of understanding and my passion to uplift people.

In fact, I have been working as a mentor, teacher or coach for over 15 years.

Starting in high school as a peer mediator and team captain, then after college working as a Film & Drama teaching artist with adolecsents in the University of Michigan's Gear Up program and coaching the girls pole vault at my former high school.

Upon moving to New York, I began working with LGBTQ youth at the Manhattan LGBT Center as a mentor and community organizer for three years and with adults and seniors for the community organization, CASH in Harlem.

Most recently, I've worked with the Wingspan Arts program teaching youth K-5 a range of topics including media literacy and sports and performing arts. As well as a Teaching Artist with the Tribeca Film Institute's Tribeca Teaches program and the Film In Action instructor at Maysles Documentary Center in Harlem.

Actor

My professional acting career began training under Terry Knickerbocker at the William Esper Studio in 2011. I learned so much about the craft and langauge of performing, new concepts on how to approach the creative process and how each artist is different.

During this time I was also learning as much as possible about the business of acting through workshops and seminars with casting directors, associates as well as from agents and managers and working actors. Meeting and working with these people personally as well as studying their books. I've learned a tremendous amount about the industry and how to work with people as in intern at The Actor's Green Room.

I have been able to utilize their guidance and insights in my own career growth and development. As an actor, most recent TV appearances include Queen Sugar, Homeland and Chicago P.D. Visit- IMDB for more.

Artist Mentor

Using what I have learned in my own journey into professional acting, I have shifted my support work focus into helping creative professionals find the balance between their art and their business.

When I'm not performing I'm happiest when I'm helping people connect to their power and path. I love working one on one with people and problem solving, organizing or collaborating together I appreciate the opportunity to share the insights and resources I've discovered in my journey with you!
